- this map seems biased because both bases on the sides of the middle are captured by blue and red, and there is nothing purple and yellow can do about it
- I can't tell after just one game. Blue and Red move first, but yellow and purple have their starting units placed farther forward. If we could review tha game, I think you would see that blue and red advanced forward more quickly with infantry and hovercraft.
- B R were also more effective at killing P Y expensive units early on, allowing for the advance into the middle.
- besides tactical mistakes: P moves last an has the worst starting position: if i take the base at the repairshop there a NO other bases i can reach with a light inf! if i take the base at the airfield, i have to "retreat" and loose advantage of the advanced position.
- also, i think, there is no chance for me, to stop red capturing the base-three-pack.
- B moves first and has three bases in reach of light inf after the first capture!
- im not sure if Y can prevent B from capturing the other 3-pack, because of the terrain slowing the berserker down, while B has only plains on its way.
- the city on the right border is one hex nearer to R, with more blocking terrain on my way.
- I do think B has slight advantage of terrain leading to middle of map. The author of the map tries to compensate for this by sand on sides, but that is easily overcome with a hovercraft.
