Map is great! btw it seems to be considerably yellow-biased!
Basically this is due to the fact that yellow has a closed and easy to access land mass/connetcion to the centre (even starting in the centre already with one inf!).
Red/blue/purple have to spend in hovers.
Purple/blue end of the centre peninsula is not narrow, but under immediate fire from blue/purple --> they contest for the bases.
Red has a uncontended access to the peninsula (NE) but cannot establish a good position as the swamps/deserts/mountains hinder any movement whereas yellow can push units from the south onto the peninsula (uncontended). Depending on yellow's initial captures with the inf on the pen, red might be hindered from reaching shore in a sustainable way.
Blue/purple starting positions are rather close compared to red/yellow which have large land masses between them.
Suggs: blue and purple positions at Land Ends should be stabilized. Red and yellow clash via immediate N-S path should be emphasized more. positioning of purple/blue starting hovers so that they might get a better stand on the centre peninsula.
