Please use this thread only for tournament results, game links and updates. All chat, discussion, complaints, etc. should be posted in the main tournament thread.
Round 6: The Finals: The original plan had been to have the lower seeded player of the two select the map from among the maps used thus far in the tournament. The higher seeded player chooses blue or red. The map choices are: thunderdome, fishy lakes, battle lines, centrifuge, duel2.0, talos 2.0.

That means Copes picks the map. Jeye chooses color.

Of course this tournament has dragged on far longer than expected and I'm not around much anymore. So if you don't like our intent just pick a map you both agree on and kill each other mercilessly. Please post the game link in this thread so others can watch.

Let the games begin. Here are the final details:

1) Your official judges are DarkBee, Tygerdave and RockyDog (moi). Shulgin will be assisting as an additional arbiter if needed.
2) All games must be rated.
3) If two trial players are playing, one of you take the free Pro subscription and use the prescribed map.
4)The first round will be a shuffling round to give the bottom 48 a chance to improve their fates. See the original post for the pairings. These games should be played on Centrifuge. Lower ranked player invites as blue. We hope to have these games finished by next Wednesday, April 20th. I will reseed the entire 64 at that point and we will start elimination play.

5) Maps for each round will not be revealed until the round begins.
6) If you do not receive your invite within 36 hours of the round start you may invite the other player and take the blue position.
7) If your opponent still doesn't show up to play, please let us know, there are a few accounts that wanted to join and missed the cutoff.
8 ) Please only post game links (when the game starts) and results in this thread. The game winner MUST keep the game in HQ or archive until the round is over so I can verify results.
9) Let's get this thing started, good gaming, good weewarring, good luck!

In addition to the games being rated, game chat should be made public.

I'd also like to add that obviously I won't be judging my own games (if that should become necessary). If you feel there is a conflict of interest in my judging then Shulgin can step in, in my place (or vice versa).
