All those in favor say I. Why it was ever changed from the original spot I do not know, but it couldn't be in a worse place. Or, ask if I actually want to end turn like before. I mean if your going to double check if I want to attack why not do the same for end turn. It seems equally as important, if not more so. It has only happened to me a few times, but this last time really got me good. I was playing a six player game and we were at a pivotal point WAY into the game and I was about to take over some key bases and accidentally hit end turn. EVERYONE capitalized on it. Now I'll be lucky if I get third... After weeks of playing to have that be my downfall is garbage... AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggh!!!!!!!!
Just wondering if anybody else feels the same way? -Urban Monk |

| yeppers. it has happened to me twice. i have long asked for a return of the 5 second countdown, but just moving the button would help tremendously. | |

| Aye. Only 2nd below the FOUC (flash of unstyled content) making me accidently log in to Facebook | |

| Pretty unanimous so far, and I definitely agree. I close the chat window by default just about everytime I open a map page, and have clicked on end turn by accident a couple times. A return of the end-turn countdown would be excellent too. | |

| not only that but really, bring back the 5 second countdown. we USED IT. it was not an idle feature. | |

I have to agree. Something to verify you really want to end the turn.
A wonderful feature would be that if you have un-actioned (not currently showed as grey) units then a verification or timeout would be really useful. I've done this several times when closing the chat window. Possibly even just changing the color of the end turn button would help. I think it would help those of us mindlessly closing the chat window. |

Isn't it funny, we used to have a 5 second countdown and then people rejoiced when a GM script was released that removed the countdown... and lo the weewarriors saw that it was good.
Now we want the countdown back?
I actually think kcolby was on the right track with a suggestion to have a countdown if you have un-actioned units. Perhaps the length of the countdown could be relative to the number of unused units, such that it's say 3 seconds if you have 1% of your units unused as opposed to 10 seconds for 10%. Or something like that. |

who are you and what color is the sky in your world? We nearly all hated teh removal of the countdown clock. we've asked for it back since it's removal. if you're going to lurk, lurk with accuracy

No, we don't want any of this 'are you sure' nonsense. if your not sure, don't click it.
Ending your turn prematurely by accident is the penalty for not looking where your going, the same as being run over is penalty for the same thing on a road. Evolution baby, survival of the least stupid. I do agree the positioning could be better but when I push the Go button I want stuff to go, not ask me are you sure you want to go. Are you sure you want to brake? Did you really mean to accelerate? Are you sure your sure you really meant to turn on your computer? 100% sure, maybe you'd like to put it back in the box? 110% sure, you could send it back you know? Are you sure you want to post this in the forum? YES stop asking me silly questions |

| It's a sure thing that I'm sure that I don't need to be asked if I'm sure. | |

| I should add that I have occasionally hit the end turn button by accident but I'd rather feel like an idiot 1 in 1000 times than have to press two buttons 1000 in a 1000 times. | |

You don't have to press two buttons if you wait 5 seconds!
